Come out and watch our very own Rock Springs Grizzlies Hockey team play on their home ice. Game will be on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 7 pm a the Rock Springs Family Rec Center Ice Arena, 3900 Sweetwater Drive, Rock Springs WY 82901. Tickets are $10 each. If you go take a selfie and send to Susan to get on the roster.
Join us for Amy Weber’s Birthday and tackle the Hot Chocolate Run at Fair Park in Dallas!! Amy has completed this a couple of times and has good advice. Sign up early and take advantage of early sign-up Discounts… by December 3rd for best discount!! If you do not want to participate, you can come, shop at the Vendor Expo, and cheer others at the Finish Line. You should also know, parking is very crowded. Get there early and be prepared. Since we are all trying to save some $$s for one reason or another, Maria and Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch have offered to Host a barn “Watch Party” for The American Performance Horseman. (The Globe Life tickets with any decent view are high, and their refreshments are as well.) This competition will be aired by Fox Sports 1, so check your local listings.
The greats will be in class competitions, including but not limited to, Casey Deary, Cade McCutcheon, Sarah Dawson, Andrea Fappani, Corey Cushing and Jason Vanlandingham!! There are 5 designated Teams of 3 each competing, so this will take a while. In the meantime, so much fun to be had!! Contact Maria or me for details. Bring your favorite chairs and dress as needed for the barn and weather!!

Farmersville will be attending a Progressive Series of Liberty Training presented by East Texas Liberty and hosted by Sherri Gerstenkorn. Each Clinic session is $150. Audit is allowed at $50 per person and will give you a birds-eye perspective of the process! If this is a success and more interest is created, Sherri may offer this Series on a Monthly basis in conjunction with East Texas Liberty. Please feel free to contact Sherri!

Defensive Pistol 1 is the class to get you started in concealed carry
Working from the holster, we go thru presentation, sight picture, trigger press, and stance. The same as Basic Pistol, except now we are learning the difference between cover and concealment, different types of reloads, malfunction clearance, and shooting while moving, Class requires pistol, 2 Magazines at least, holster, magazine pouch, ear and eye protection, 250 rounds, snacks, and drinks. A camp chair is not a bad idea either.

Nathan will provide instruction on various topics including warm-up Drills, Transitions, Lead Changes, Trail Obstacles, and Ranch Classes for the Show pen and more. This will be in the lighted outdoor arena, or indoor if raining. Reach out to Nathan at (903)440-3630 to get signed up and let him know you are coming!
International Day celebrates the diverse heritage of Rock Springs each July. Known as the “Home of 56 Nationalities,” different cultures are celebrated all day through food, exhibits, costumes and live entertainment. It is the only ethnic festival of its kind in Wyoming, so you won’t want to miss it! This year’s annual festival features a wide range of local, regional, and international entertainment, activities for kids, exotic foods and unique vendor items. Performers from various parts of the world provide a smorgasbord of music and dance entertainment throughout the day. Food, drinks, music, arts, crafts and more all with free admission! See you on July 13th in Bunning Park!

This is one date of an Annual, multiple date Buckle Show Series (12 show dates in 2024) with 9 Divisions and 7 Classes. Classes include Ranch Halter, Ranch Rail, Ranch Pleasure, Ranch Reining, Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, and Mechanical Cow-work. Join us as we kick off the winter series of Wild West Outlaws Gymkhanas, on October 26, 2024 in the indoor arena at Sweetwater Events Complex. Entry fees are $10 per event. Great way to keep your horses in shape thru the winter months. Same as last year, earn points for end of season awards. Call Susan Nichols for more information.
We will be participating, again, in the 2nd Annual Horse EXPO at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX. This Expo event will include Horse Products Vendors, Sale Horse Alley, Food Vendors, Demonstrations, New & Used Tack, Stallion Exhibits, and Horse Health. Farmersville will have a booth and represent 40 Something Cowgirls!! We will also attend and participate in EXPO Demonstrations. The 2023 1st Annual EXPO was a huge success for our Chapter!! And in final summary, our participating Members will wrap up their competition 2024 year back at Henderson County Fair Grounds in Athens!!! Come out and cheer them on! Your appearance and support is greatly appreciated!
