Mustang trainers have been formally selected and invited to compete in the exclusive Mustang Magic weekend during the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, January 18-20, 2024!
Mustangs will travel from Idaho to Fort Worth, Texas to be matched with their trainers on Friday, September 8th at 11 a.m. during The Fort Worth Mustang Show at the cattle pens on the south side of the John Justin Arena.
Mustang trainers will return January 18 to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Mustang Magic to exhibit their gentled mustang. The Top 10 highest scoring trainer and mustang pairs will move forward to the Saturday night’s Mustang Magic Top 10 Freestyle Finals, where they will show off their partnership for a chance to become the 2024 FWSSR Mustang Magic Champion! Adoption/Auction will immediately follow naming of the FWSSR Mustang Magic Champion

Come in out of the cold and join us for the wonderful world of the Worlds Greatest Horseman. This event runs from 2/11 through 2/24. Finals are 2/24.
Rocking RJ Ranch – Stephenville: Ribbons, Cows and Fun and good food!!First show is March 16. There will be a cow practice on Friday starting at 4. Bring your trainer or just practice following a cow. Each cow is $20.
We have added a MUSTANG group! We have continued the walk trot division.
We have reduced the office fee to $15 per family.

We will be seeing Dune part II at the Hulen Movie Tavern at 6:30ish as of this posting the theater does not have a specific time. I will update and post on GM when the theater has a scheduled time. We can get our tickets when we get there.

Caney Mountain Horse Camp in approx an 8 hour drive from Fort Worth. There are numerous videos on YouTube featuring Caney Mountain and all that it has to offer. It will be magnificent with all of the Spring foliage. This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and your mount. They have guides and trails for all levels of riders. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS. There is a restaurant at the camp. It is near Big Flat. You will see a sign that says Leatherwood Wilderness and another sign that says 1118. Directions are on their website campsites are $30.00 per night no hook ups available generator only. uncovered stalls are $10 per night covered are $20 Water is available and there is a bath house.

After each class the Judge will go over the score card with you and share ways you can improve. Events: Ranch Trail, Ranch Riding, Ranch Reining, Ranch Flag. Classes: Youth 10 U, Green Horse, Beginner, Novice. All day flat fee $50. All proceeds will go towards Western Women of Inspiration women’s ministry. Franklin Camping at Deep Creek Horse Camp in Bryson City down the road to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Deep Creek Entrance. Must Call James Clark at 828-736-1270 to make reservations – he does not take online reservations. Once settled into to the beautiful camp alongside the beautiful creek go pick out at trailer from his numerous stock trailers available for guests to go explore different sections of the park with endless horse trails. Campground has electric and water hook ups, and dump station at departure.
Back Country Horsemen of North east Georgia is holding the annual Rendenza at Whetstone Horse Camp – please contact Katie Adams for site reservations and accommodations and meal tickets. All day riders are to be present and ready to ride out at 10am from the day parking area.
