Movement Matters! Live cooking demo and preview of Walk With Ease

Walk With Ease is a FREE program provided by OSU Extension that can:

• Build confidence in being physically active
• Get you moving no matter your mobility or fitness level
• Reduce pain and improve overall health

Join us to learn more about why movement matters – and enjoy a live healthy cooking demonstration!

This free virtual event is a partnership with Oregon State University Extension, Comagine Health, CINO, Oregon Wellness Network, and Food Hero

Please join us for our first Roundup for the new year on Jan 30th (Tues) at the American Pie Pizzeria in Barnesville beginning at 6:00.  Looking forward to meeting with all my cowgirl friends as we discuss our thoughts and ideas on special rides to take, places to camp, places to eat, or whatever we want to talk about as we enjoy each other’s company! If anybody wants to catch a ride with me, I can meet you at the Walmart on Zebulon Rd in Macon at 4:45 – just let me know!

Cowgirls it’s time for our February roundup meeting.  Bring your ideas for up coming events, they can be horse or non horse.

March is going to be a busy month, lets kick it off with our monthly round-up.  Join us at 6:30pm for snacks and catching up, meeting will start at 7:15pm.

Meeting at the Alumni Building before we start coggins clinic over at Fairgrounds. Please bring your suggestions and ideas for rides, camping trips, summer horse swimming, and Christmas parties. I truly want to set up a Christmas gathering date at this meeting. And I want to discuss the amazing success our chapter has had and the positive impacts we are making in our community.

Join us for our monthly round-up meeting at Queen Sharry’s.  Meet and chat at 6:30pm meeting will start at 7:15pm

ALL ABOARD!!

Let somebody else take care of the cooking with this 2.5 hour ride and delicious brunch buffet.

Ticket includes, brunch buffet, coffee, water, hot tea.

Adults = $62 / Seniors = $54

They have a bar car that houses a full bar to serve up craft beer, mimosas, bloody marys and so much more.

They will run this ride rain or shine, please come dressed for the weather.

Train leaves at 10 am – Plan to arrive no later than 9:30 AM!

If you are wanting to purchase tickets please go to: Upcoming Rides – Santiam Excursion Trains (santiamexcursions.com) and purchase for the date listed on this event.  When you get towards to end of checking out there will be an option to put in if you would like to be put with another group.  Please put 40 Something Cowgirls in that spot so we can all sit together.

Come join us for our May monthy round-up meeting, it will be at Queen Sharry’s house at 6:30pm on May 8th.  We will be going over some St Paul volunteer information, we have some fun events coming up and Corporate has a special request for us.   Our new 40 Something Cowgirl (volunteer) hats will be here soon.  We would like to get a photo of the volunteers in their cute new hats, Corporate would like to see all your pretty faces.

Looking forward to seeing everybody and catching up as we just enjoy each other’s company!   Had to change the original date from Jun to Jul as there wasn’t enough participation indicated.  Please let us know if you will be attending by annotating the going button under the event OR annotating you can’t make it in the comments area for this event…Just want to have a good crowd there so all can be informed on what’s happening in our Chapter and catch up – as it’s been a while!  Am possibly looking at setting up a certain date for every other month so as to get the most participation possible!  Thanks!

Meeting at Deep Creek Horse Camp to attend the newly formed Southern Highlands BCH in our riding territory. Bring a lawn chair and your choice of snacks and beverages, adult beverages are permissable.
