Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. Bring your digital camera or smart phone and find the top surveyed answers to questions to chose from along the trail. Compete as an individual.
Riders out at 9-11 am. Riders will leave in intervals and Ride route is 2 -2 1/2 hours long. Finish by 2pm. Intervals intended to control congestion on the trails.
Riders must return to later than 2pm to turn in their results. Prizes awarded after 2pm.
Bring your lunch; lemonade, water and treats provided.
Shoes for horses are recommended. Children are encouraged to wear helmets and dogs must be on a leash.
Entry Fees: $30 per rider; under 12 years of age $10. cash or check. Day use park parking fee is $5; or purchase an annual permit. *Join OET at this event with the purchase of a single or family membership and recieve one free entry to this event. (Memberships will include 2025; annual memberships are: single $30, family $35).
Prizes Awarded: For individuals with the most points awarded in the Survey, for First, Second, and Third Place. Judges decisions are final. There will also be raffle prizes. Each entrant receives a raffle ticket for this drawing.
