The Yamhill county sheriff’s posse always puts on a great fun night with barrels and poles and multiple other games
Come and hang out with us. Bring a horse or two. Play day!! Poles, polo, soccer, games, or whatever else we can come up with. $5 per horse to cover the cost of the arena. Money goes to Virgil.
Join us for Amy Weber’s Birthday and tackle the Hot Chocolate Run at Fair Park in Dallas!! Amy has completed this a couple of times and has good advice. Sign up early and take advantage of early sign-up Discounts… by December 3rd for best discount!! If you do not want to participate, you can come, shop at the Vendor Expo, and cheer others at the Finish Line. You should also know, parking is very crowded. Get there early and be prepared. I have set up a clinic and campout with Robbie at his place for 40SC Members. Clinic will focus on horsemanship and communication with your horse and Robbie will work with each person on where they are with their horse. We will also work a little on trail, obstacle, flag/cow work and setting your horse up for success.
There is a hotel close if you don’t have a LQ trailer. Limited spots available so contact me ASAP to register. We will also take a run over to Teskeys for a little tack shopping as the ranch is close to Weatherford. Once we know who all is going we will do a little more planning for meals, etc.

Farmersville will be attending a Progressive Series of Liberty Training presented by East Texas Liberty and hosted by Sherri Gerstenkorn. Each Clinic session is $150. Audit is allowed at $50 per person and will give you a birds-eye perspective of the process! If this is a success and more interest is created, Sherri may offer this Series on a Monthly basis in conjunction with East Texas Liberty. Please feel free to contact Sherri!

is proud to host the 5th Annual
Bridger Valley Obstacle Course Challenge

This will be a day filled with fun obstacles, horsemanship and friendships, old and new. Buckles and other prizes awarded.
Signups start at 9am. The event begins at 10am. $50.00 entry fee. Divisions via age and experience.

Come and have fun and practice your trail skills. Amy will make it interesting and add a treasure hunt. Then we’ll test our skills with a horsey partner and play a few games. We will break for lunch. Amy will supply pulled pork sandwiches. Bring a side dish or desert to share. Amy will have water, otherwise please bring what you want to drink. There will be prizes. $10.00 charge per horse trailer. This event is for 40SC members and their immediate family members.

Wells Performance Horsemanship and Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch are opening up the above dates to offer mini clinics aiming to get out of the Texas sun!! Start is 6pm and running to 9pm… you can ride for 1 hour, 2 hours, or stay for all 3! Nathan will provide instruction on various topics including warm-up Drills, Transitions, Lead Changes, Trail Obstacles, and Ranch Classes for the Show pen and more. This will be in the lighted outdoor arena, or indoor if raining. Reach out to Nathan at (903)440-3630 to get signed up and let him know you are coming!

We will be participating, again, in the 2nd Annual Horse EXPO at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX. This Expo event will include Horse Products Vendors, Sale Horse Alley, Food Vendors, Demonstrations, New & Used Tack, Stallion Exhibits, and Horse Health. Farmersville will have a booth and represent 40 Something Cowgirls!! We will also attend and participate in EXPO Demonstrations. The 2023 1st Annual EXPO was a huge success for our Chapter!!
