The workshop is hands on demo.  We make Rustic Sourdough Boule, Together and the instructor walks you through step by step.  All participants take home some of the very active wild yeast sourdough starter.  The instructor also will bring a variety of yummy wild yeast sourdough treats to enjoy.

Come join us for our monthly roundup! This meeting we will be planning a couple different rides for Spring and Summer! Don’t miss this meeting if all possible!

This class is to help educate on what to do in different emergency scenarios. We will be discussing what to do and what not to do. What gear to have for example what to keep in a bag in your vehicle if it breaks down on the side of the road. What to keep in your house if the power goes out. Come out and join us to learn more and the Listen Approach to equine craniosacral training. During this two-day clinic you will learn about connecting with you horse on a deeper healing level. Topics covered include self-awareness, intention and energy use, equine anatomy and health evaluation, feeling and influencing the cranial rhythm, and rebalancing the cranial bones. This is a focused Clinic for “Building Confidence Through Better Horsemanship”!  Nathan Wells will work you through some ground time and saddle time.  Requirements for this Clinic participation is the ability to walk, trot, and lope your horse.  His training will be improvements in horsemanship within each gate.  This will help the confidence of beginners as well as experienced rider!!  Limited space for six (6) riders.  Audit is $20 per person.  Sign up promptly at https://www.facebook.com/wellsperformancehorsemanhip

Trinity Trail Events founder Maral Eckenrod will conduct an instructional clinic on how to navigate the mountain trail obstacles at Flying M Stables, which were built by Mark Bolender of Bolender Horse Park.  If you trail ride or have thought of competing at a Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced Level of Equine Trail Sports events (ETS) or other obstacle challenges such as IMTCA events (International Mountain Trail Challenge Association), here is where you can start!  Maral will lead us through how to acclimate your horse to the obstacle, navigate it properly, and what judges are looking for.

Trinity Trail Events also conducts virtual challenges using just a few items (ground poles, tarp, cones, flag, spray bottle) that you may have at home.  You will receive the pattern and have a window of time to practice and video you and your horse navigating the obstacles, submit your video to Maral, who will judge it, provide comments if you want, and award prizes, including buckles. TTE has Novice, Intermediate, Advanced and Easy Peasy patterns to get you started in this field!

Depending on sign-ups for the clinic, the plan is for 2 hours of In-Hand instruction and practice and 2 hours of mounted instruction and practice.  If more than 12 horse/rider pairs sign-up, then it may be changed to 2 groups, with 1 hour each of In-Hand and Mounted work.

Cost: $60 per horse/rider pair, includes haul-in fee of $35 ;  $5 per auditor

Pay via Venmo to @Wendy-Morrow-79  and Chapter will pay the haul-in fee to Flying M Stables.

Here’s some answers to some common questions that may be asked:

Joel Conner Horsemanship. Phenomenal teacher and student of the horse. Empowers the horse and the horseman.

This year’s clinic will be held Friday through Sunday, August 9-11, 2024.

We will once again have 3 3-hour sessions per class (that’s 9 hours of work per class). The Groundwork class will be from 9am – 12pm each of the 3 days, and the Riding class will be from 1:30pm – 4:30pm each of the 3 days.

Bring your own lunch, plenty of water, and SUNSCREEN! We will likely be working a bit outside, weather permitting.

Each class (Groundwork or Riding) is $450.00 for all three days, or $800.00 total to do both classes.

We require a deposit of $225.00 requested to hold your space PER CLASS, or a $400.00 deposit if you are signing up for both.

There will be a daily fee of $10.00 per horse for stalls OR outdoor pens, and you will be required to provide shavings for your stalls (indoor only) as well as daily cleaning and end-of-clinic stripping of your stall, but as usual I will feed for you 2x/day with your own hay and grain/supplements, if desired. Dry camping will be $20.00 for the weekend (suggested donation) – there is a bathroom on site but no shower, however there IS a 2 bedroom apartment available for rent if a few of you wanted to band together and rent that out (it has a queen and a bunk bed, but Keri said there’s not really a cap on bodies so air mattresses are welcome! https://www.airbnb.com/hosting/listings/editor/48871402/details/custom-link
