This is a focused Clinic for “Building Confidence Through Better Horsemanship”! Nathan Wells will work you through some ground time and saddle time. Requirements for this Clinic participation is the ability to walk, trot, and lope your horse. His training will be improvements in horsemanship within each gate. This will help the confidence of beginners as well as experienced rider!! Limited space for six (6) riders. Audit is $20 per person. The Polk County Master Gardener Association Plant Sale is coming up Friday, May 10th 9:00 to 4:00 and Saturday, May 11th, 9:00 t0 2:00.
Cheers to the returning Country Store, beautiful annuals, trees and shrubs, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets and a few specialty plants.
They are adding a new children’s area this year where children will, for $1, be able to plant a Marigold in a colorful plastic pot for their mom and take home a small scoop of Marigold seeds to plant in their yard. This table will be staffed by members of one of their 4H Horticulture groups who will also have information on the 4H groups in Polk County to give to kids who come to the table.
They will also have 5 to 6 raffle items to be raffled off on Saturday at noon.
