Greg Eliel - Horsemanship, Leadership,& Life! What's not to love about Greg!! We are so lucky to be able to host such a wonderful horseman at our farm!!

Whether you are an experienced equestrian looking to bring your horse to a more advanced level, or less experienced and looking to feel more confident with your horse day-to-day! Greg's tailored approach and master communication skills will help you work through challenges to reach those goals.

    AM Class 9:00am - Noon

    Horsemanship 1

Excellent for someone new to working with Greg, young horses, or green horses.

Immersion and Refinement Classes will give you and your horse the opportunity to learn together with Greg. You’ll be working toward developing an understanding of how your horse learns, as well as acquiring the tools to build a solid foundation from feel. This is the beginning of a new relationship together.

Phase One: In Immersion the foundation in groundwork will help to build a secure, confident, relaxed, and supple horse. Followed by applying the groundwork to the saddle, the rider will now begin to reap the benefits from the new foundation, helping the horse to move away from the slightest amount of feel. You will learn how to meet the horse’s needs and to speak to the horses in their language, the horse and rider have a much greater potential of reaching goals for any discipline in harmony.

Phase Two: The refinement phase we will start to focus more on the individual discipline and goals of each horse and rider combination

    PM Class 1:30pm-4:30pm

    H1/H2 -

*Host will determine best class for each participant.

Horsemanship Clinic: Connection, Confidence & Fun with Chriss Cardwell

    August 30, 2025
    10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
6009 Pilchuck Tree Farm Road, Snohomish, WA

Ready to strengthen your connection with your horse while boosting your confidence and having a blast? Join us for a 3-hour horsemanship clinic designed for riders of all levels—whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your partnership.

Led by Chriss Cardwell, a talented and experienced horsewoman, this clinic is all about understanding the why behind what we do—with exercises that build from the ground up.

More about Chriss : Chriss has been involved in horses most of her life, she picked up the bug after a girl scout trip to ride horses and developed into a full-time passion. Over the years Chriss has dabbled in many disciplines, including: Hunters, Eventing, Dressage, horse racing, Polo, Cow working and ranch work. While competition has taken a back burner in her adult life, she spends her energy and spare time learning how to help people across disciplines improve their riding by developing feel and understanding of their horses. You will frequently hear her say "I won't teach you how to (jump, dressage, work a cow - you fill in the work!) specifically, the skills you learn with me will make all the interactions with your horse better." Chriss's approach to helping people includes groundwork, how groundwork feeds into work under saddle, problem solving for horses (and humans) who are having trouble, and how to have FUN on and with horses. She has been teaching for close to 25 years, helping beginners through advanced riders with their horses. It doesn't matter what tack you bring, she can help both you and your horse have more fun every day together.

    What to Expect:
Groundwork that builds trust and respect
Ridden work that puts your groundwork into action
A confidence-boosting challenge game to wrap it all up with fun and connection

You’ll walk away with practical tools, new insights, and a stronger bond with your horse.
