  The Back Country Horsemen of Washington's Zillah event is the annual Winery Ride, a popular event held in October where riders can horse to local wineries for tastings and purchase wine to be brought back to base camp by volunteers. For the upcoming 2025 event, registration for members opens on June 28th, with the event held on October 25th, and registration opening to the public on July 1st.

  • What: The BCHW Winery Ride. 
  • When: The 2025 event is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025. 
  • Where: Zillah, Washington. 
  • Who: Back Country Horsemen of Washington. 
  • How: Riders horse to participating wineries, purchase wine, and volunteers bring the bottles back to base camp for pickup later in the day. 
  • Why: The event supports BCHW's efforts to keep trails open for all users. 

  How to Participate

  1. Register: Member registration opens June 28th and general public registration opens July 1st, 2025. 
  2. Sign a Liability Release: All riders must sign a liability release form. 
  3. Plan for the Event: The event features different trail loops, camping, a catered dinner, and entertainment after the ride.

  Calling all horse-loving women 40 and up (and 50s, 60s, and beyond)!
  Whether you're a seasoned rider or just horse-curious, you're welcome to join our fun and friendly group. We even have a “Little Sisters” category for women ages 21–30!
