Welcome to the Sisterhood Series Challenge! March's Theme: Find Your Footing

This year-long experience was created for one simple reason: none of us were meant to do life alone.

At 40 Something Cowgirls, sisterhood is the heartbeat of who we are. It’s showing up, lifting each other up, caring for ourselves and our communities, and choosing connection over isolation.

Each month, you’ll be invited into a new, optional challenge focused on encouragement, reflection, service, and growth. No pressure. No perfection. Loud or quiet, public or private — it all counts.

What to expect throughout the year:
    • Monthly challenges
    • Opportunities to log experiences and share stories
    • Monthly Zoom gatherings
    • Fun surprises and small rewards along the way
    • End-of-year recognition for those who walk the full journey

    This isn’t about doing more.
    It’s about doing life together.

Learn more and join the Sisterhood Series here.

Wherever you are right now, you belong here.
    Let’s rise together, cowgirls.

    Horsemanship 1

For the green horse and rider already comfortable in the snaffle bit along with aged horses needing continued work. This is the first stage of progressing into the bridle with all basic movements introduced. All levels of riders – no matter what discipline – will benefit. The class features strictly dry work – no cattle. All maneuvers stress the vaquero style of riding and are appropriate for horses from first level snaffle to experienced bridle horses. Hackamore horses welcome.

    Horsemanship 2

The next phase in the development of the versatile bridle horse. Horsemanship 2 introduces the rider to working the horse in the hackamore and beyond. Horsemanship 1 is a prerequisite for enrolling in Horsemanship 2 unless otherwise approved by Buck. The class involves working cattle and ranch roping so that all aspects in preparing the bridle horse-in-the-making are addressed.

    About HEAL Corp

    Health. Education. Liberty.

When disaster strikes, the difference between chaos and coordinated response is preparation.

HEAL Corp is a U.S.-based humanitarian disaster response organization built for decisive action in moments of crisis. We bring together disaster physicians, medical specialists, former military leaders, Search and Rescue professionals, aviation specialists, engineers, and logistics experts into one unified response capability.

We deploy rapidly when communities need help most.

    Responding at Home

HEAL Corp has supported communities across the United States during some of their most challenging moments, including:

    • Hurricane Helene flooding in North Carolina
    • The July 4th flooding in Kerrville and the Texas Hill Country
    • The Smokehouse Creek Fire in the Texas Panhandle
    • Search & Rescue operations in Taos, New Mexico; the Colorado mountains; Rusk, Texas; and the Dallas–Fort Worth region

In each deployment, we operate in coordination with local and state emergency management authorities, law enforcement agencies, and incident commanders. Our teams integrate within established response frameworks - reinforcing public systems with medical capability, search and rescue assets, aerial drone support, and field coordination expertise.

We do not operate independently of community leadership.
    We deploy to strengthen it.

Our role is to augment capacity when resources are stretched, to provide disciplined operational support in complex environments, and to help restore stability with professionalism and accountability.

    Serving Beyond Our Borders

    Our mission extends globally.

HEAL Corp has responded to humanitarian crises in Jamaica during Hurricane Melissa, has supported communities impacted by earthquakes in Haiti and Turkey, and delivered emergency medical support and humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

In each nation, we deploy in coordination with host governments and senior local leadership, aligning our operations with sovereign priorities, national emergency frameworks, and ministry-level response efforts. Our role is not to replace local systems, but to reinforce them with disciplined capability, technical expertise, and rapid operational support when capacity is strained.

In every location, our focus remains the same:
rapid response, strategic partnership, and compassionate care.

    Why Your Support Matters

Disasters are increasing in frequency and intensity. Communities need response teams that are trained, equipped, and ready before the call comes.

    Your generosity supports:

    • Rapid deployment teams
      Search & rescue capability
      Medical response operations
      Mobile command and coordination infrastructure
Training and programs that strengthen long-term resilience

When you invest in HEAL Corp, you are investing in preparedness, professionalism, and the protection of human dignity.

    A Legacy of Readiness

The true measure of leadership is not found in comfort, but in commitment.

Disasters will come. Communities will face overwhelming tragedies. The question is whether we will be prepared when they do.

Tonight is more than a fundraiser - it is an opportunity to build enduring capacity. To invest in trained professionals who stand ready before crisis strikes. To strengthen infrastructure that protects families, restores stability, and reinforces dignity in the most difficult hours.

Your support does not fund a single moment.
    It builds sustained readiness.
    It equips future deployments.
It changes lives long after headlines fade.

Generosity given tonight becomes preparedness tomorrow.
    And preparedness becomes lives protected.

We invite you to partner with HEAL Corp in building something that outlasts this evening - a legacy of readiness, resilience, and responsible leadership.

Because the strongest communities are not those that avoid hardship -
they are those that are prepared to overcome it.

HEAL stands for Health, Education, and Liberty - because strong communities are built on more than survival. They are built on resilience.

We are honored to have you stand with us.

What Is an Equine Dental Day?

An Equine Dental Day typically involves a licensed veterinarian or certified equine dental practitioner providing services such as:

    • Routine oral examinations

    • Dental floating (filing sharp enamel points)

    • Correction of hooks, ramps, and wave mouth

    • Wolf tooth evaluation/removal

    • Sedation (administered by a veterinarian, if required)

    • Dental charting and documentation

Dental care is essential because a horse’s teeth continuously erupt throughout life, and uneven wear can cause pain, poor performance, weight loss, and behavioral issues.

    Purpose of the Event

    • Improve horse comfort and performance

    • Prevent long-term dental problems

    • Provide convenient group scheduling

    • Reduce cost through shared travel fees

    • Educate owners about equine oral health

Come join us to celebrate Christmas! This will be our 3rd year riding in the Greenville Parade of Lights and showing off our Cowgirl Christmas Spirit!

We dress up our horses in twinkling lights, bells, and Christmas garland! They are a sight to behold!

General parking will be in the parking lot at the TX Dept of Public Safety (location may change).  We will decorate our horses there and then walk over to the staging area. Depending on the amount of people that do not want to ride, we may have a float. If we do have a float, you will need to then walk over to. where we will have the trailer for staging.

We will determine the dress attire for the parade but if we have a float, those of you riding on it will need your trusty Stick Ponies. (yep you read that right, stick ponies lol)

Please be there at 3:00 pm to decorate your horse. If we have a float, please be there at 4pm, on the trailer by 4:15. Judging starts at 5:00 pm. Top 3 float drawing at 5:30. Parade starts at 6.

Come on out and ride with us or stand in the crowd and cheer us on!

Afterwards, join us for dinner at either Chili's or Texas Roadhouse. So don't leave right after the parade, we will figure out where dinner will be!
