Welcome to the 40 Something Cowgirls Abilene, TX Chapter! We are a vibrant group of horsewomen who share a love for the western lifestyle, adventure, and creating meaningful connections. Whether you’re an experienced cowgirl or just discovering the joy of country life, this chapter is all about embracing new experiences, building lasting friendships, and empowering each other.

From horseback riding to local events, we come together to enjoy the beauty of the Texas outdoors, support one another, and celebrate the strength and spirit of women. Saddle up and join us in making memories and living life with a little extra cowgirl pride!

    Our 40 Something Cowgirls are saddling up to enjoy a Saturday ride around Lake Abilene! Please join us  at 11:00 am lake side.
    Please check in at the par station with your proof of negative coggins and $5 entry fee. Then, make a U-turn back out to to highway and make a left. The lake entrance is 1 mile on the right.  Follow the road to the swimming area.
    The park would like to remind us all to park along the parking stumps on the outside of the grassy area. Do not park in the middle grassy area.
