Kings mountain, nc

est. 2023

Welcome to the 40 Something Cowgirls of Kings Mountain, NC!

Here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, we’re a fun-loving and adventurous group of women who know that life only gets more exciting after a certain age! Whether we’re riding through scenic trails, enjoying a local event, or simply sharing good times with great friends, we’re all about embracing the cowboy spirit and celebrating the beauty of life.

Our chapter is a place where laughter is contagious, support is endless, and every day is an opportunity for new adventures. So, saddle up and join us in Kings Mountain—where friendship, fun, and a little bit of country flair make life one unforgettable ride!

This month, we’re celebrating the women who make the ride better.

July’s theme is Side by Side, and it’s not about how far you ride or how many miles you cover. It’s about the laughter, encouragement, conversations, and friendships that happen along the way.

This month, we invite you to connect with another 40 Something Cowgirl. Ride together, grab lunch, welcome someone new, reconnect with a sister you haven’t seen in a while, or simply reach out with a kind word.

Some of the best memories are not made because of where we rode. They are made because of who rode beside us.

    July Prompt:
Who has made your journey better?

Share a photo with a fellow 40 Something Cowgirl and tell us how she has impacted your journey.

    Ride on, side by side.

Share a photo and tell us about the ride, place, or moment that helped you reconnect with the freedom horses bring to your life.

    To participate:

1️Register for the June Sisterhood Series Challenge in the Wild Apricot app

2️Ride Free—however that looks for you

3️Share your photo and story in the 40 Something Cowgirls Facebook Group

Include your location or tag your chapter when you post.

Your story may inspire another Cowgirl to saddle up, take a deep breath, and remember why she rides.

We can't wait to see where your adventures take you.
