Welcome to the 40 Something Cowgirls, Rock Springs, WY Chapter—where the West is wild, the adventures are endless, and the sisterhood is strong! We’re a lively bunch of women in our 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond, who know life is meant to be lived with passion, laughter, and a bit of grit. Whether we’re riding through the rugged Wyoming landscape, celebrating victories big and small, or simply enjoying a sunset with good company, we embrace each moment with heart and joy.

If you’re ready to saddle up, make unforgettable memories, and find a community of women who support and inspire each other, join us in Rock Springs! The trail ahead is full of fun, friendship, and boundless adventure—we’re always ready to ride!

  • Green River Wyoming - Ranch Trail Course

    • Christine Saunders' Arena, 229 Scott's Bottom Road, Green River, WY 82935

    Christine Saunders is hosting a Ranch Trail Course in the arena located on her property, adjacent to C&M Corrals. Starting at 8 am with registration and ending at 1 pm or until all those signed up get through the course. There is a $10 fee and is open to anyone that wishes to try the course. Bring your spouse, friends, kiddos etc. This event is designed to expose you and your horse to various obstacles similar to what you would find in Ranch Trail course. Opening a gate, trot over poles, walk across a tarp maybe. You can ride or walk a young horse through in-hand. No awards, judges, time-limit, just working with your horse/mule/colt on different obstacles. 

    Potluck will follow. Christine will provide hamburgers and hotdogs. 

    If there is enough time left we can go on a trail ride!

    Get ready to tap into some soulful vibes at this year's Sweetwater Blues n' Brews festival on August 22 from 2 pm to 7 pm in Bunning Park, Downtown Rock Springs.

    $40 General Admission ticket includes:
    • Admission and musical entertainment
    • Unlimited 7 oz samples
    • Commemorative sample glass

    VIP tickets - $50, includes:
    • One-hour early admission and musical entertainment
    • Unlimited 7 oz samples
    • Commemorative sample glass
    • Commemorative pint glass

    VIP tickets are limited and have sold out in previous years.

    Prices increase $5 at the gate and after 5 pm on Friday, 8/21/2026

    Not drinking? Admission is free.

    *From 2 pm to 3 pm, only VIP acess is permitted. General admission admission begins at 3 pm.
