Welcome to the 40 Something Cowgirls – Salem, OR Chapter, where grit, grace, and a love for adventure meet! Whether you're galloping through life or taking it one stride at a time, this is the place to embrace the spirit of the cowgirl at any age. We’re a vibrant group of women, 20, 30. 40 and beyond, who are redefining what it means to be a cowgirl – strong, independent, and always up for a little fun and inspiration.

In the heart of Salem, Oregon, we ride through life with the wisdom of experience and the excitement of new horizons. Join us as we saddle up for adventure, create lifelong memories, and support each other in this amazing journey. From horseback rides to heart-to-heart chats, there’s always room for one more cowgirl in our circle! So, let’s dust off our boots, grab our hats, and get ready to make every moment count.

    Welcome to the Sisterhood Series Challenge! April's theme: Ride Into Growth

    This year-long experience was created for one simple reason: none of us were meant to do life alone.

    At 40 Something Cowgirls, sisterhood is the heartbeat of who we are. It’s showing up, lifting each other up, caring for ourselves and our communities, and choosing connection over isolation.

    Each month, you’ll be invited into a new, optional challenge focused on encouragement, reflection, service, and growth. No pressure. No perfection. Loud or quiet, public or private — it all counts.

    Beginning in April, sharing your journey will be even easier! All members will be emailed April's SSC information sheet with an update on how to post to earn your points.

    ✨ What to expect throughout the year:
    • Monthly challenges
    • Opportunities to log experiences and share stories
    • Monthly Zoom gatherings
    • Fun surprises and small rewards along the way
    • End-of-year recognition for those who walk the full journey

    This isn’t about doing more.
    It’s about doing life together.

    They will have some of the best vendors around, along with a $5 appraisal booth so bring your own treasures if you've been wondering what they are or what they're worth!

    The Jokers Wild Poker Ride has become a classic trail riding event in Philomath, Oregon, just 5 miles from Corvallis! 

    Come join in on the 26th anniversary of this fun event the last Sunday in June (June 28th) and support the OET Mid-Valley Chapter in their trail and horse camp maintenance endeavors.

    First rider out at 9 am, Last rider out at 12 noon.

    $10 per hand, or 3 for $20. Minimum one hand per rider.
    Less than 13 years rides free.

    Minors under 18 years needs parent, or guardian.

    NO DOGS!!

    Food available for purchase from J&C BBQ
