Yeehaw and welcome to the 40 Something Cowgirls of Forsyth, GA!

We're a spirited group of women who know how to ride through life with a smile and a sense of adventure! Whether we're saddling up for a ride, kicking up dust at local events, or simply enjoying the beauty of Georgia's countryside, we believe every day is a chance to embrace the western way of life.

Our chapter is all about fun, friendship, and supporting each other as we navigate the fabulous 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond. So, if you're ready to trade in your boots for a good time and make lasting memories, join us in Forsyth—where the adventure never stops, and the fun always comes naturally!

    Please join us for our Fall Trail Ride Weekend on Oct 24-26. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis for stalls & camping sites!    

    Friday night is karoke and wine tasting. On Saturday, ride starts at 10 with other activities later on in the day - costume parade, trick or treat, catered supper, and dj with dancing. Please see the flyer for cost information and all the details! Gonna be so much fun!!!!

    Gonna have a fun time camping and riding over at A. H. Stevens State Park in Crawfordville GA from Nov 7th-9th. Hope all can join us or just come for the day!  Camping, reservations and stalls need to be made individually in the equestrian camping area. We've not ridden at this state park as a group, but several have ridden there and loved it...I'm excited to try it out!

    Got a ride planned at Charlie Elliott on Nov 11th which is Veterans Day beginning at 9:30. Let's all wear our red, white, and blue to let all our Veterans know we love them and appreciate their service to our Country. Hope to see many of you there! There is no cost to ride at Charlie Elliott - but they do ask all to get a fishing license there.   Any donations you would like to make to our Chapter would be greatly appreciated as well!

    The Forsyth Chapter of the 40 Something Cowgirls will be joining up with the BCHA (Back Country Horse Association) for a wonderful fall weekend beginning November 14-16 2025 at Hard Labor Creek State Park.  See the details below and get your reservations in early with Terri as campground will fill up fast with all us "horse people"!  Please register with the Forsyth Chapter AFTER you've made your reservations with Terri - to be sure you have a spot!  Gonna be so much fun!!!!

    Hey Cowgirls! We've got a Saturday morning ride planned for the 1099 Trail at 10:00 on Nov 22nd. Directions are as follows: If heading East on Highway 83 towards Monticello, the Forest Service Rd is on your left after crossing the Ocmulgee River. Once you see the Call 911 for Emergencies Sign on your right, look to your left to see the road. (Rd is approximately 1 to 2 curves on top of hill right before you reach the 2nd sharper curve - first rd to left I believe). If heading West, it is the last road on your right before you cross the Ocmulgee River at Mile Marker 1.  Trail Head is about a mile down the road on your left.  Hope you can join us!  Thanks!
