Forsyth GA 1st Kayak Ride on the Ocmulgee

Come join us for our first Kayak River Ride on the beautiful Ocmulgee River!  We will be putting our kayaks in at the Juliette Boat Ramp on Juliette Rd (between the dam and the bridge) on Aug 8th at 9:00 and heading upstream - yes, you read it right! - for a beautiful, leisurely, and not hard at all ride up the river for our first time adventure!  Maybe, on the next ride, we'll brave a few rapids and go downstream!  Bring your normal kayak stuff - life jacket, paddles, water shoes, etc. as well as water and something for lunch and whatever snacks you like!  We'll stop and eat at a sandbar somewhere.  Gonna be so much fun!!!!!
