  Welcome to the Sisterhood Series Challenge! February's theme: Love Well--Cowgirl Style.

  This year-long experience was created for one simple reason: none of us were meant to do life alone.

  At 40 Something Cowgirls, sisterhood is the heartbeat of who we are. It’s showing up, lifting each other up, caring for ourselves and our communities, and choosing connection over isolation.

  Each month, you’ll be invited into a new, optional challenge focused on encouragement, reflection, service, and growth. No pressure. No perfection. Loud or quiet, public or private — it all counts.

  Who's ready for some fun with your horse and a little competition? Join our Spring Fever Virtual Scavenger Hunt. Earn prizes and a chance for a buckle! Tasks are available for all skill levels, walk or ride.

  Here's how it works. The cost is $36 and after you've clicked the link to join, you'll be sent an email with the fb link and a detailed list of instructions. 

  Everyone that completes the 20 tasks will earn a T-shirt and be entered into a drawing for prizes.

  Join us for our annual Wine Trail Ride on the beautiful Four Winds Ranch in the "hill country of North Texas". We'll ride about 2 hours on the trails on the ranch. Then we'll stop and play on some obstacles they have set up. We'll have a leisurely potluck lunch in the pecan grove and then ride through the pasture to neighboring Arche Winery to relax with a glass of wine. This is a lovely ride and one you won't want to miss.

  The cost of the ride is $30 and lunch will be provided.

  Join us for a beautiful ride among the blooming dogwoods at Caddo National Grasslands. We'll ride on Saturday, but a group of BCHTX will camping all weekend. You're encouraged to stay and camp if you want or just come ride for the day. This is a fun ride and no fee, except whatever the park fee is. If you stay all weekend, there will be potluck dinners on Friday night and Saturday night. So bring a dish to share and a chair.

  If you're not camping, you can park for free in the day use area

  Join us on this exclusive trail ride through one of North Texas premier hunting ranch. The high fence ranch is an exceptional wildlife habitat with exotic deer, including Whitetail Deer, Red Stag, Fallow Deer, Axis Deer, Scimitar Oryx, and Black Buck. In addition to these exotics, the ranch is home to highland cattle, mini donkeys, alpacas, and horses. 

  We'll ride through the trails on the lookout for deer and sheds and then come back to the barn for a peaceful, and relaxing potluck lunch. 

  The fee to ride is $25 and a dish to share for the potluck.

  Come hone your and your horse's skills on our Obstacle Track! We'll have a variety of obstacles set up on a track setting as if you'd come across these obstacles on a trail ride. It's a great way to expose your horse to some things they may find concerning  in a controlled and relaxed setting. This will be very laid back and informal, so you can work on each obstacle at your own pace, and you can either ride or lead through each depending on your and your horse's comfort level.
