  Join us as we celebrate a life well lived by Forrest Martin, the beloved husband and 40sc mascot, of Bonnie Martin. We'll ride out at 10 am sharp to spread his ashes at one of his favorite riding spots. We'll have lunch at 1 pm. BBQ sandwiches, beans, and waters will be provided, but everyone is encouraged to bring a potluck dish or dessert to share & BYOB.

  You can come and ride or just show up for lunch. Hickory Creek is a beautifully rugged place to ride with plenty of scenic views along the trail. 

  If you come to ride, remember that you'll need a conservation pass. You can waive that if you have an OK hunting or fishing license. People from TX over 65 don't need to provide any of those. If you have to purchase the pass, and are not in OK, the fishing license is the cheapest option.

  Join on us on this historic trail ride that starts in Burneyville, OK and ends up at Illinois Bend, north of St Jo, TX. 

  The trail riders will meet at the old historic Leon School in Burneyville, OK at 2pm. We'll drive to a local ranch and ride through the ranch, across the Red River, through an ATV park, and some local ranches, with a little road riding, and arrive in time for a catered BBQ buffet supper at the historical old Illinois Bend schoolhouse at 6pm. (101 Spur 677 St Jo, TX)

  You can ride the entire Legacy Ride, which rides back at night (8pm) or have trucks and trailers moved forward to the TX side to end the ride in St Jo.

  You can stay and camp primitive if desired

  Join us as we go on "safari" in North Texas on the beautiful Dawson's Triple Creek Ranch. We'll ride the trails on the ranch and be on the lookout for highland cows, mini donkeys, Red Stag, fallow deer, white tail deer, and alpacas. We can hunt for sheds along the way and then come back to the barn and enjoy a potluck lunch. Bring $25 for the ranch, whatever you want to drink, and a dish to share.
