Welcome to the 40-Something Cowgirls of Big Spring, TX—a group of bold, adventurous women who live and breathe the cowboy way of life. Rooted in the heart of West Texas, these cowgirls prove that true strength, grit, and passion only grow with time. In their 40s, they ride with confidence, wisdom, and a fierce love for the open range, embodying the spirit of the West with every stride.

Whether they’re riding the rolling hills of Big Spring, participating in local rodeos, or simply gathering for a night of storytelling under the stars, these women know how to live life to the fullest. Their experiences and camaraderie form the backbone of this incredible sisterhood, where every member is supported, encouraged, and celebrated.

The 40-Something Cowgirls of Big Spring are a testament to the power of resilience and the joy that comes with embracing the cowboy lifestyle—no matter the stage of life. With boots firmly planted on the ground, hearts full of adventure, and a legacy of strength, these women continue to inspire and lead with courage, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to their community and the land they love.

    We will meet behind the funeral home in Big Spring at 3:00 pm to decorate our horses, line up is at 4:00 pm, parade starts at 5 pm.
    Cowgirl attire required, since we will be judged, this is a cowgirl event only.

    Stanton Christmas Parade – Let’s Ride!

    We’re excited to share that we’ll be participating in this year’s Stanton Christmas Parade!

    We’ll meet at Cowgirl Karla’s house to get ready before we ride over to the staging area.
    ✨ Parade attire encouraged!
    Feel free to decorate your horse with anything festive you have—lights, bows, bells, you name it!

    Not in the mood to ride? No worries! We’ll have a truck or Jeep available for anyone who prefers to ride along instead.

    We’ll also be tossing candy to the kids, so bring a bag (or two!) if you’d like to contribute.
