Where Pacific Northwest grit meets cowgirl soul

Welcome to the Oregon City Chapter of 40 Something Cowgirls—a sisterhood of women who ride hard, laugh loud, show up for each other, and never quit. Nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, our chapter brings together cowgirls of every experience level to enjoy the horses, the trails, the clinics, the competitions, and the camaraderie that make this lifestyle unforgettable.

Here in Oregon City, we honor the spirit of the West with a Pacific Northwest twist—lush forests, winding rivers, and the kind of scenic rides that make you fall in love with the saddle all over again. Whether you’re brand new to horses or a lifelong rider, you’ll find support, encouragement, and a tribe of women who ride beside you through every adventure.

From monthly meet-ups and group trail rides to community involvement and leadership opportunities, our chapter is proud to represent what it truly means to be a 40 Something Cowgirl: bold, confident, capable, and always willing to lend a hand.

Saddle up and join us.
Your next ride—and your next lifelong friendship—starts right here in Oregon City.

Welcome to the Sisterhood Series Challenge! April's theme: Ride Into Growth

This year-long experience was created for one simple reason: none of us were meant to do life alone.

At 40 Something Cowgirls, sisterhood is the heartbeat of who we are. It’s showing up, lifting each other up, caring for ourselves and our communities, and choosing connection over isolation.

Each month, you’ll be invited into a new, optional challenge focused on encouragement, reflection, service, and growth. No pressure. No perfection. Loud or quiet, public or private — it all counts.

Beginning in April, sharing your journey will be even easier! All members will be emailed April's SSC information sheet with an update on how to post to earn your points.

What to expect throughout the year:
    • Monthly challenges
    • Opportunities to log experiences and share stories
    • Monthly Zoom gatherings
    • Fun surprises and small rewards along the way
    • End-of-year recognition for those who walk the full journey

    This isn’t about doing more.
    It’s about doing life together.

Wherever you are right now, you belong here.
    Let’s rise together, cowgirls.
