Here's an online event to watch at home!

The Ridden Horse Performance Checklist (RHpE) identifies “Stumble, Trip, Toe Drag” as a group of behaviors that may indicate pain, discomfort or early lameness. While stumbling and tripping can be dramatic and easy to spot, subtler instances may be overlooked. Occurrences of bilateral hind leg toe drag are common and often normalized.

Join Dr. Sue Dyson and the Train with Trust Project as we discuss these behaviors, how to identify them, how to determine their possible causes, and what to do about them. Submit your questions in the comments to have them answered live!

Thursday Nov 5th

A recording will be available afterwards on our Train with Trust Project YouTube channel.

The Train with Trust Project invites you to join our ongoing conversation with Dr. Sue Dyson about the well-being of ridden horses and the future of the equine industry. This is an opportunity to engage with and learn from a world renowned expert on issues affecting horse owners, riders, vets, trainers and other professionals.

Dr. Sue Dyson is an equine orthopedic expert, researcher and author whose lectures are in high demand internationally. With her colleagues she created the Ridden Horse Pain Ethogram (RHpE), featured in the award winning documentary The 24 Behaviors of the Ridden Horse in Pain: Shifting the Paradigm of How We See Lameness which has been viewed nearly 450,000 times on YouTube..
