HEY RODEO FANS!

Wylie is having their Championship rodeo! Here are the details!

Date: Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12, 2026
Time: Gates open at 6:30 pm, Rodeo starts at 7:50 pm

We ride in the Grand Entry either Friday or Saturday night or BOTH! We wear our usual pink long sleeve and straw hat. Our horses don the black saddle pad cover and pink sport boots or the polo wraps. We try to get to the parking area by 5-5:30pm to start getting ready. The parking there can get crowded but if you get there with enough time, you will get a nice spot and be able to leave when done. We usually like to stay for the rodeo and watch the action! This year some of our cowgirls will be riding in the barrel racing event and even junior barrels so stick around and cheer them on!

FREE PARK & RIDE - No parking at the Rodeo Arena — shuttle only.
Parking and free shuttle are available both nights at Sanden International (601 Sanden Blvd, Wylie).
There will be no shuttle service available either night from Wylie High School.

Handicap parking is available near the gate—must display placard. Grass/dirt seating—limited wheelchair accessibility.

Sponsored by the Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce, the Wylie Championship Rodeo is a two-night United Professional Rodeo Association-sanctioned rodeo. In its 32nd year, the rodeo features roughstock events, including bull riding and bronc busting. Attendees are also invited to browse over 50 concession and vendor booths, which will feature free kids' games and a Kiddie Korral with inflatables and a petting zoo.
