No horses, free event !
Only asking for donations if you can to give to the grange. Suggested $2 per person.
Invite your friends!
Please carpool if possible, parking is limited.
Come early to socialize at 5:30 pm.
Snack potluck style.
Class promptly starts at 6 pm

Sarah Holden , she recently started her independent western saddle fitting business. Sarah trained and mentored under Wendy Winn.
They are quick, focused saddle-fit assessments offered on-site at rodeos, barns, shows, tack swaps, community horse events. They’re perfect for riders who want fast, reliable feedback without booking a full fitting.
workshop usually takes about 2 hours and contains this:
- different parts of the western saddle
- saddle trees
- why western saddles are shaped differently
- then discussing how people can see a bad saddlefit in a horse physically and behaviorally
- tracing the horse and letting them feel how to identify scapula and end of weight bearing area
- putting saddle on horse and showing how to determine if saddle works or not
- person on horse to show how this can change how the saddle sits.
