PLEASE READ ALL INFO: This class will provide instruction to owners on how to take all necessary vital signs, how to respond to vital emergencies like colic, choke, lacerations, eye injuries, etc. and Laurie Wilson (certified in technical large animal rescue), will cover some basic self-rescue techniques. Dr. Febles will also be selling supplies to re-stock your med kits (like banamine, bute, antibiotics, etc.) All proceeds will go to support 2 local non-profit groups: LARG: Large Animal Response group and Trinity Horse Rescue & Equine Sanctuary. Cost is $50 per person. The class will be held in an enclosed indoor arena so unless roads are closed the event will be on.
ONLY 30 SPOTS AVAILABLE do facility size. Please make your check to: LARG and mail to: LARG 1321 Corner Rd., Powder Springs, Ga. 30127. Spots will be reserved for the first 30 checks received. Checks will not be cashed until event date and you may cancel up to 48 hours prior to the event (send me a PM to cancel). Any checks over the 30 will be held as wait list for this class or a second class. If you have definite medical kit items that you want to purchase, please indicate them with your check so we can bring the appropriate quantity.
