RIDE INFO: There will be one sanctioned North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC) Leisure Division ride. The day’s activities will start with an introduction to NATRC, including an explanation of ride flow, timing, Pulse & Respiration checks, trail equitation, and the judge’s expectations. All competitors will receive a scorecard with feedback from the judges to help them improve. Ribbons will be given for first through sixth place.
Negative Coggins required. All riders under 18 years old must wear a helmet.
The ride is 8-10 miles @ 3-3.5
mph. Classes will be Experienced, Adult and Junior.
Cost is $70.00 for NATRC Members,
$85.00 for Non-Members.

CAMPING INFO: For those wishing to stay over, Fees are $10/night for primative camping.
Camping permitted Friday & Saturday Night. Camping is not a requirement
for attending this competition. Contact Sonja Jones for reservations.
TRAIL INFO: Dirt with some rock and creek crossings. Trails will wander through the beautiful woods surrounding West Point Lake. The ride will be over a marked trail within a specific time period. There will be up to 5 observations and one Pulse & Respiration stop to evaluate the horse and rider teams. Distance conditioning, safety, equitation, trail manners and ability, way of going, soundness, and teamwork are all part of the competition.
SCHEDULE:
Check-in begins – 8:00am
Intro to NATRC – 9am
Presentation to Judge- 10:15am
Ride Out – 11:00am
Presentation to Judge – ASAP after returning from the trail (~2:30pm)
Awards – ASAP after horse presentations are over (~3:30pm)
Participation Goodies Bags will Also be Handed Out
Ride Sunday at your leisure and enjoy TCSC On the Trail Obstacle Course.
