Dallas Chapter of the 40 Something Cowgirls plans to go back —second time ever at Cochran Mill and we love it! We found out on the last ride what we were missing—and cowgirl, we are going back in style!!! The big question is Cochran Mill prepared for the Cowgirls2.0! Only time will tell!
Our ride will take place in Chattahoochee Hills Georgia- please get there in time to ride out by 10 AM. The park is located just 20 miles southwest of the Atlanta Airport, Cochran Mill Park, with 800 acres of woods, fields, and streams, features stunning waterfalls, huge boulders, rock outcrops, wildflowers, native azaleas, mountain laurel, and the ruins of 3 historic mills. In 2010, donations from almost 400 local families in the City of Chattahoochee Hills allowed the City to purchase Cochran Mill Park from Fulton County.
Cochran Mill Trail is a 5.7 mile out and back trail located near Palmetto, Georgia and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, horses, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round.
