Please join us for the 40SC Skills workshop. This is an event organized by 40SC cowgirls; this is not a professional clinic nor will it be led by professional horse trainers.
This is a free flowing workshop. You can begin desensitizing your horses on the ground first. Then for those who feel comfortable, please continue under saddle with your horses. There are a number of exercises we can conduct in the arena for those who want to participate. For example, we form a circle with our horses at a stand still, and one rider weaves their horse in and out of the horses standing still. This helps both the moving horse and the horses at a stand still. Another exercise is leap frog, which can be explained at the workshop.
These are a lot of fun and are helping our cowgirls build confidence with their horses!
