Please join us for this 40SC Skills workshop.  This is an event organized by 40SC cowgirls; this is not a professional clinic nor will it be led by professional horse trainers.
We will work on desensitizing our horses on the ground first.  Then for those who feel comfortable, we’ll continue under saddle with our horses.   There are a number of exercises we can conduct. For example, we form a circle with our horses at a stand still, and one rider weaves their horse in and out of the horses standing still.  This helps both the moving horse and the horses at a stand still.  Another exercise is leap frog, which can be explained at the workshop.
If you want to participate in other events at this venue, please visit BCJFR.Com to join.  ($50 for individual membership, $60 family membership)
The wind destroyed the arena’s official sign near the road, but there is a street sign.
This fairgrounds is a “diamond in the rough”  Right now there is no water or toilets.
