Who needs to buy Chocolate Sauce when this can be made? It’s as good as Hershey’s product:)
1 Cup light corn syrup 2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 Cup sugar 1 can evaporated milk
1 1/2 Cup water 13 TB unsweetened cocoa
Combine syrup, sugar & water; cook to Soft Ball stage. Remove from heat. ADD cocoa, stir until mixed. ADD vanilla extract. Slowly add milk; mix thoroughly. Cool. Makes 3 1/2 cups.
Photo shows sauce as being light. It’s still warm.
