Hey Ladies! Join us for our monthly meeting at 6:30pm. Please wear your thinking caps. We want to come up with some camping ideas and hoping find some fun camping to do as a group. Dont forget to bring your $ bills to buy your raffle tickets for the drawing. tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. A free raffle ticket will be given to those that bring a guest (someone who hasnt attended one of our meetings before).

The lodge opens at 6:00 to claim your seats for Bingo. Bingo starts at 6:30- you DO NOT have to be a lodge member to play Bingo.
Food and beverages are also available for purchase.
The cost is $20 for 7 games of 9 cards each for straight Bingo.
During the break, they will run a 50/50 and do Queen of Hearts. Everyone can play the 50/50 but only members can play the Queen of Hearts.
You must play all first 7 games to play the Blackout at the end. The cost to play Blackout is $5 for 12 cards.

With all the weather at we know these trails are still ridable! Trail Ride on the Trinity River. Park at the trailer parking next to Billy Bob’s. Ride out at 11 AM.

Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. The church is going to have 3 events, 2 practices and the one in April will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.

We will be attending a trail ride organized by BTCC at Six O Ranch. Ride out is at 11, usually ride 3ish hours here.

It is Bluebonnet time in Texas and this ranch never disappoints! Let’s go take a ride and test our sense of adventure while checking out the beautiful landscape that the bluebonnets always create. Bring a lunch with you and we’ll take a picnic along the way.
The owner typically meets us to check Coggins, get release form signed and collect fees.
“Bust a Nut” is a fundraiser event to benefit 5150 Rescue Farm. Come have drinks, listen to Heidi’s stories, hang out with friends, and look at some great art. Drinks will be served from a converted horse trailer. More details as she posts the latest on the event.
Purpose of the fundraiser: 5150 farm was surrendered a bunch of Guinea pigs that need to be neutered.
Heidi and 5150 Farms rescues animals of all types, like the pig that caused an uproar locally. All animals are cared for and get vet treatments. Some will find their forever home on the farm and others are able to get adopted.
We can also hit up the Cantina for Mexican food and drinks after to keep the laughs going.

We love our horses but sometimes it is good to just hang out! Time for bowling, fun and laughs with each other. Even if you don’t want to bowl Film Alley offers other things, or just hang out and laugh at(I mean with) us!
We love to ride and this weather is great for a Sunday afternoon ride! The park entry fee is $7. Meet at the Cross Timbers trail head, ride out at 2. The trail is 7ish miles, so typically a 2 hour ride.

IF you have never seen old-time plowing down with horses or mules, OR even if you have, you DON’T want to miss this:
The Farm Fest & Plowing Competition is the largest plowing competition on the West Coast, with 20+ teams of draft horses and mules.
See demos and meet the teamsters. Join for a day of old-time farming fun at this year’s event with Pioneer Kids’ activities, tours of the museum and 1880’s Hutchcroft School, old-time music, food and more!
Admission is $8 for adults and free for kids under 12.
This event is put on by the Yamhill County Historical Society-Yamhill Valley Heritage Center.

Bridger Valley Obstacle Course Challenge

This will be a day filled with fun obstacles, horsemanship and friendships, old and new. Buckles and other prizes awarded.
Signups start at 9am. The event begins at 10am. $50.00 entry fee. Divisions via age and experience.

This is a day event put on by Extreme Trail Sports. Great for those new to the sport. Day rentals for stalls are available and should be reserved when you register but stalls will be paid for the day of the event.
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 7:00pm, PST
Saturday Morning: In-Hand event obstacles are completed dismounted. You may be saddled, halters with leads are recommended. All non-riding equines are welcome to compete.
Saturday Afternoon: Obstacle Course is a mounted event in an area/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.
There is a variety of terrain throughout the property. The facility has gravel roads throughout. The arena has sand footing. The trails have dirt, mixed gravel, wooded area, and lots of trees.
FEES:
Obstacle Course: $24-$44
In Hand: $24-$44
Continental Breakfast: $5 donation
Lunch: $8 donation for beef chili and chicken enchilada chili with chips and drinks
In addition to the registration fee paid to ETS, a $10 facility fee will be collected the day of the event to support the ranch.

1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced
1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17)
1st-3rd place Youngin’ (age 7-12) and
1st place Newcomer.
