Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds. There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. If you need a ride and pick up your horse let us know.
Franklin Cowgirls – Line dancing classes to raise money for Otto Fire Department. Meet at 6:15pm at the Otto Fire Station, Down in Ottoi off Georgia Rd. Bring $5 dollars required donation. MEMBERS ONLY 1:00 pm Pool Party at Queen Joelle’s! Food will be provided, but bring your favorite beverage, pool float and sunscreen. There is also shade available. Please RSVP by June 14 so we have a head count by checking “Going” on this Event via the 40 Something Cowgirls Facebook page.

What’s that, you ask?
Well… You bring your horse, and you grab something that can be a task or obstacle. 7-8am show up at D&D Livestock (outdoor arena), drop your obstacle/task item, and we will walk through at 8:05am. Folks explain their obstacle in the walkthrough. Then give space to each other, take your horse through on the ground to work any obstacle. Then, dewater or take care of any creature comforts, then we’ll have a horse & rider come through. We’ll make intervals so it’s a no pressure, have fun, try something new or old, and cheer each other on. Bring your coffee, bring a snack or your lunch—up to you to feed & refresh yourself.
Please NO dogs! Leave them at home.
All I need to know is what you’re bringing so there’s only 1 of that feature. Please don’t haul something that’s cumbersome. Not that this is what needs to be brought, here’s ideas to get your creative juices going…
