Our monthly meeting that usually falls on today’s date will be scheduled for next week 🙂 Today, we will be heading out to Caliber Equine LLC in Quinlan for a tour and demonstration of a couple things they have to offer.

May 10 -11th – Bar W Rodeo Company – Sponsored by the Macon County FFA Chapter – Two Full Nights of championship rodeo with bull riding, barrel racing, breakaway, broncos, and much more. The Macon County Horse Association is opening their concession stand for amazing pulled porked sandwiches and platters. Bar W Rodeo is a local odeo company nestled right here in our Western Carolina Mountains. We hope everyone comes out to see amazing action and help raise funds for our local FFA and Horse Association
Come out and enjoy the 88th year of the Hall of Fame St Paul Rodeo. It will be a week of thrilling rodeo action, entertainment and carnival.

Local Competitors
There will be payouts for all local events. All competitors must wear jeans, boots, and a long-sleeved shirt. Cow Milking competitors must wear a cowboy hat. ALL COMPETITORS MUST SUBMIT A SIGNED LIABILITY FORM. IF UNDER 18, THE FORM NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY AN ADULT.
Events:
* Wild Cow Milking – Adult teams of 3. Cow is let out of the chute with a halter and rope on. Team is given a bottle. Have to get enough milk into it that a drop will let out into the judges hand. $100 per team.
* Mutton Bustin – Kids 4-6 years old and under 50 lbs get on a sheep and hold on for as long as they can! – $35
We will be participating in the Park Street 4th of July Parade again this year. Everyone come join us!!
We will meet up in the parking lot of the Family Fellowship Church parking lot to get ready. Bring all your patriotic decorations and decorate those horses up and wear your best patriotic outfit you can find!! Come early enough to be ready for lineup at 9:00 am parade starts at 10:00 am.
There are lots of things going on before and after the parade so look up North East Texas Community Events on Facebook and check out their flyer as to all that is going on. For instance: Park Street Baptist Church hosts a free pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am with donations being much appreciated, Complimentary watermelon after the parade, ETC. At dusk it all moves over to the Greenville sports park with the Bottle Rocket Bash.
**PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING A BUCKET AND POOPER SCOOPER AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR HORSES** This is a must in order for us to be welcomed back and able to park in the church’s parking lot.
Come out early to save the best spots on the parade route, we want you to enjoy the St Paul 4th of July Parade with us. Parade will start at 10:00am from the High School, goes through town and around the Rodeo Grounds.
2024 Theme – “A Portrait of St Paul”
This parade will take place on Saturday, July 6th. We will meet at the Lone Oak High School parking lot. There will be plenty of parking for trailers. Be there @12:30 to allow plenty of time to decorate horses and be ready for the parade which starts at 2:30.
Rider parade attire: Your best RED, WHITE, and BLUE attire.
Come join us for the parade and then we will head to Texas Roadhouse for a tall glass of sweet tea and a steak dinner.
We will plan to ride in the Grand Entry so come join us!!
Must be there ready to line up at 7:00 pm to participate in the Grand Entry. Rodeo starts at 7:30.
Tickets are $10/person and kids 5 and under are free. CASH only at the gate. No online ticket sales. There will be an ATM outside the gate if need be. However, if you participate in the Grand Entry your admission is FREE!!
We will be participating in full 40SC parade gear. This being: Pink button up 40SC blouse, straw hat, boots, jeans, and pink polo wraps or splint boots on front legs of your horses and if you have the 40SC saddle pad cover you may use that as well.

Farm-City Pro Rodeo Grounds has seating for nearly 8,000 spectators. Entry to the Umatilla County Fair is included with purchase of FCPR ticket. No entry to FCPR from Umatilla County Fair without rodeo tickets. Main parking lot at east entrance to FCPR grounds. Parking also available at any Umatilla County Fair Parking Lots.

Its that time of year again, its the North Texas State Fair & Rodeo. We will be participating in the parade on Saturday August 17th. We will park along Bryan street near First Denton Church at 7:30am. Parade line up is at 9am.

Join us for the Wylie Christmas Parade! Let’s show our Christmas spirit and decorate our horses! We will be parking in the vacant grassy lot off of Birmingham st. We NEED designated manure scoopers for the parade. We also will need a volunteer to carry our chapter banner.
Join us for dinner after the Wylie Christmas Parade! It has been a tradition for 3yrs now to have tacos after the parade! There is parking at the back of the parking lot or in the Burger King parking lot next door.
Join us for the Farmersville Christmas Parade! Let’s show our Christmas spirit and decorate our horses! We will be parking in the administration building. We also will need a volunteer to carry our chapter banner.
Join us for dinner after the Farmersville Christmas Parade! Please let us know if you are coming, we have to call ahead to reserve a table.
