Come out and enjoy watching some amazing people from the Rustic Farm group put on a de-spook clinic. All spaces for the actual clinic are taken, but it will be a fun time to watch. Wells Performance Horsemanship and Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch are opening up the above dates to offer mini clinics aiming to get out of the Texas sun!! Start is 6pm and running to 9pm… you can ride for 1 hour, 2 hours, or stay for all 3! Nathan will provide instruction on various topics including warm-up Drills, Transitions, Lead Changes, Trail Obstacles, and Ranch Classes for the Show pen and more. This will be in the lighted outdoor arena, or indoor if raining. Reach out to Nathan at (903)440-3630 to get signed up and let him know you are coming!
Please contact Joelle to RESERVE your spot and time. Certified equine dental team Barbara Brooks and David Kelly will be performing teeth floating and sheath cleaning. Cost is $100 for Teeth/Sheath or if you just need Sheath it’s $30. Please bring CASH or CHECK for payment, as well as some extra cash for our Boot for our two charities! We are keeping this a MEMBERS only event, unless we can’t fill all our time slots. So if you have a friend that needs this service, let Joelle know so we can put them on our reserve list.
This event will be held at Donna and Tim Frye’s farm, plenty of parking, complete pull through. Use 2455 Charlotte Hwy., York, SC in your GPS. When you arrive, use the entrance to the pasture with the gate. Do NOT go down the private drive to the home.

Staci and her husband, Hud, has offered a day of saddle fitting. Hud will go over general fit information for everyone and take questions. You may bring a horse for fitting, with either their stock (Purchase is not required or expected. They are doing this for informational/teaching purposes not sales) or you may get advice on a concern with the fit of your current saddle. Hud can work with individuals after the main presentation. If you plan to bring a horse, please let Staci know in advance so that they will know how many to expect. There is limited parking so maybe even plan to carpool if you can. 3-day liberty and bridleless clinic provided by Gamilah Unbridled and Modern-Day Horsemanship. Is is their only clinic on the West Coast this year (were just in Canada and Texas). If it is too late to sign up with your horse for the 3 days, they do offer auditing for $35/day.
*if you are unfamiliar with Gamilah Unbridled, it was a journey cross country and documnted on FB. Patrick rode his Arabian mare bridleless (and she was a rock star even in city traffic) to bring awareness to his charity for underprivileged kids…..and kinder treatment for our horses.
Two classes: Groundwork or Riding $450 each class or $800 for both classes for all 3 days

Each day, participants will receive 2 one on one sessions with their horse. Due to the individualized teaching, they welcome participants of all skill levels. Their niche is liberty and bridleless riding, but participants are welcome to use their sessions as they’d like.
This clinic will end with liberty games Sunday Afternoon!

Stephenville chapter has invited a licensed firearms / safety instructor to give us some tips and information about personal safety. She will go over many things including how to use what you have in a horse trailer as a safety instrument. This is very important as we do not live in a safe world. She will charge $75 per person payable that night cash or check. It’s worth it ladies!! Please invite friends … they don’t have to be 40SC … it’s important information!
Jim welcomes both western & english riders. Whether your horse is under saddle or still in the ground work stages of training, Jim is very well versatile and knowledgeable.
Come prepared to answer the question, “What do you want to learn/work on?” Jim wants to help you with your goals and that is why he does one hour one-on-one sessions.
A one hour session with your horse is $160.
If you chose not to bring a horse there is a $25 per day audit fee. Clinic participants are welcome to audit all riders sessions at no additional charge.
Sessions start at 9am and go until 5pm, with a one hour lunch break from noon to 1pm.

Connie works with participants at each of their levels, both horse & Rider. In the clinic there will be learning/drills both of foot & horseback.
Trainer Magen Allen will be coming to Shenandoah Bar M Ranch for a special 2-day clinic. Magen is a true all-around trainer with a background in everything from ranch, roping, barrels, and reining to western pleasure, English, and jumping. She is a Reserve World Champion with multiple other top 5 placings.
The clinic will be a general horsemanship clinic focusing on the goals of the individual riders. The cost of this 2 day clinic will be $200 or $40 to audit. Space is limited to 15 riders. Hurry to secure your spot with a $100 deposit now!
