BYOB dinner and games. Bring a $5.00 scratch off or an item of same value for a game. Can be a garage sale item or something someone may want. Put it in a bag or an envelope. Meet up at Marillyn’s house at noon and then we ride at 1pm. We go on a trail ride to find hidden ribbons that you turn in for an Easter basket. Some ribbons may get you an additional prize or an “upgraded” Easter basket!!! Marillyn will have some snacks and beverages (of course, there will be jello shots and peeps shots!!!!!) It is $25 per participant to help cover some of the cost of the Easter basket items. (You get a basket with more than $25 in value.) This is just a fun ride and day, not an extensive trail ride. You basically ride until you find a ribbon or as long as you want. We then go to my neighbor’s house and he feeds us. I will have a “new” place to ride this year. Woohoo! Please RSVP to Marillyn by March 30th so she can have enough baskets prepared. Feel free to bring prospective members, family, or friends! “Rain date” make-up ride will be April 20th.

This year is the 150th anniversary of the Derby and we’re going to celebrate with traditional big fancy hats and mint julips. The big race is at 5:45 but come early to watch the prelim races.

With the heat of summer upon us, our cowgirl Rhonda would like to open her home and pool up to us for a fun get together!!
If you plan to come please contact her at the number listed above or contact Queen Christy at 469-682-6207 for the address for we do not publicize our cowgirls’ information on here. Please contact via text vs phone call for unknown numbers will most likely not be answered.
We do ask that you please bring a dish to share whether it be a fruit or veggie tray or some sort of dessert or finger foods. Also bring your drinks of choice and bring towels.
This will also be open to bringing your family members if you like, but again please let us know who all will be coming.

Float the Green River in Saluda, NC
Let’s stay cool floating the Green River at 5200 Green River Cove Rd.,Saluda, NC. We will carpool there and arrive there by 10:00 to start our adventure. After our float which takes about 2-3 hours, we can have lunch in the cute town of Saluda or at the Tryon Equestrian Center!

Owners Tom and Pat Seay open their home and land for a unique cattle experience. Experienced or novice welcome, you will be guided and mentored by experienced cattle driving and team penning staff.
Lots of history at this old farm, you will want to have this kind of fun without having to go west. The most awesome thing is you bring your own horse.
Power at each site. Community hose for water for your trailer. Stalls for each horse. Small bathhouse on property, but not fancy.
