Come join us for a Ride. Location will change each month. This will be a location within 1-3hrs from Greenwood. We will ride for 2-4 hours and maybe have lunch after. Come and join us for as much or as little as you want. Some cowgirls may only ride an hour and others longer!

Early, Texas Apron painting luncheon
It’ll be a fun painting party designing our chapter aprons, to use for community events.
We’ll enjoy some delicious homemade soup, bread and cookies

this event has been cancelled due to the impending weather , a cold front with strong winds
it’ll be a warm and sunny day to get and enjoy the trails at Lake Proctor

Trail ride is rated easy with some areas that will have small hills , sand and gravel

We had to postpone the ride at Joy’s due to weather, So we have adjusted it and we are going to San Angelo State Park Saturday instead. Some people are going Fri-Sun – come when you can. We will have a group ride on Saturday at 10 AM .
We are all going to start off at Joy‘s house, as a meeting point, and then head out from there. Be in your saddle by 6 PM so we can get out and have a good ride before it gets dark.

Lake Protor ride in Comanche is both beautiful and scenic
ride last about an hour and a half and is rated easy with some rocks and sand

Afterwards we’ll head over to Miguel’s Mexican Restaurant in Comanche , just a few minutes away …. Lunch is Dutch

Dr Conway was well loved and respected by many animal lovers far and near .
Friends along with the Army Corps Of Engineers of Lake Proctor will erected a sign dedicated in honor of Dr Conway.

now that the weather has cooled off a bit , it’s time to hit the trails again
lake proctor has beautiful scenic views , and if were lucky we might just see the American eagles flying near the lake
