Franklin, NC – Chattahoochee-Oconee Nat’l Forest, Trail Ride @ Cannon Rd, parking, Chattahoochee Nat'l Forest

Trail ride at the back side of Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, exploring new areas and trails. Lady Splipper and Lake Russell trails are nestled amongst the beautiful foothills of Northeast Georgia. Meeting at the end of the road of Cannon Rd, which is just past Frady Branch Equine main trail parking.

*******: Directions: HWY 441 South towards Toccoa, turn left and then next left onto 17/365/123, go down to right light of HWY 184./123, then left just past Highway patrol station onto Hwy 184 go past Frady Branch’s main parking area about a mile to 2 miles and then we will turn right onto Cannon Rd and follow it down to end.

Franklin, NC – Frady Branch – Trail Ride @ Frady Branch Trail Head, Chattahoochee National Forest

Day trail ride at Frady Branch – Chattahoochee National Forest, Toccoa, Ga. – 14.5 miles of trails and four separate loops to explore. Meet at the trailhead parking area at 10 am. There is a

$ 5-a-day use fee which you can buy a yearly pass from USDA Forest Service. Bring lunch, snacks, and drinks.  See ya on the trail

Meet at Hurricane Creek Parking Area at 10am, and we will ride out up Hurrican Creek or to Albert Mountain. Bring plenty of drinks, snacks, luft, and horsey treats.  Standing Indian National FOrest is off Hwy 64 Between Franklin and Hayesville. Contact Tammy for any questions

Meet at 8am at Chevron stateline, then head over to SC to Buck Kennedy Trailhead horse parking lot

Franklin, NC – Cannon Rd Ride @ Cannon Rd, Chattahoochee National Forest
Mar 28 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Day trail ride off Cannon Rd & FR 92E- Chattahoochee National Forest, Toccoa, Ga. –  meet at 10am, saddle up and head out exploring the endless trails, waterfalls,  and forest roads. Bring lunch, snacks, and water. Dogs allowed in this area. Trails are easy and shoes not needed here.

Franklin, NC – Whetstone Day Ride @ Whetstone Rocky Gap, parking area
Mar 30 @ 10:30 am – 5:00 pm

Meet at Whetstone parking area at 10:30, we’ll saddle up ride out to Adeline and possibly cross river if super low, if not we’ll make loop and go out through Spring house, climb the ridge and head back to parking area. 5 to 6 hr ride so bring food, lunch, snacks, and a lot of water. Trails are easy to moderate in difficulty.

Franklin, NC – Willis Knob @ Earls Ford , Willis Knob

Meet at Whetstone Parking lot at 10:30, we’ll cross the river at Earls Ford into Georgia and ride entire big loop on Georgia side. We’ll follow river trail from Adeline and back down to Earls for crossing back over river back into South Carolina and back to parking area. Bring tons of snacks, lunch, and water. Shoes recommended on Ga side, trails are easy to moderate difficulty.

Franklin, NC – Tsali Loops @ Tsali Recreational Area

Meet at 10am at big boat ramp parking lot. The loops alternate the first of April so Thursday will be Left and Right loops for equine riders. You can bring your trail dogs to Tsali. Bring lunch, snack and drinks, don’t forget bring collapsible bowl & water for dogs & horses.  Make sure you have your park passes up to date

Franklin, NC – Nantahala Natl Forest Big Indian Trail @ Nantahala Forest
Apr 11 @ 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Meet at Hurricane Creek Parking Area at 10am, and we will ride out across creek jump on Big Indian Trail. Bring your chainsaws and hand saws. This will be first ride since winter storms. Bring saddles with water and food.
