Volunteer Services for Hot Mess Horse and Animal Rescue – Cowgirls have been asked to assist with fencing and animal care. We are meeting at the rescue on Old Murphy Road. All materials are on site for the fence repair, which is needed to separate the horses from the cows, goats, and alpacas. Laura Thornton has offered to pay and declined payment since earning and fundraising for horse rescues is very difficult. We are honored to show cowgirl generosity and compassion to the owner and these deserving animals. We welcome cowgirls and their families to donate time and services to this amazing rescue in the heart of our community

They are doing this for informational/teaching purposes not sales) or you may get advice on a concern with the fit of your current saddle. Hud can work with individuals after the main presentation. If you plan to bring a horse, please let Staci know in advance so that they will know how many to expect. There is limited parking so maybe even plan to carpool if you can. You may contact Staci directly for more information at 816-536-4532.

We pack up and head to TBarS on October 3rd!! This is one of our favorite places to camp! If you haven’t made it a point to go, you really should. We normally have so many going that we reserve the entire campsite. However, this year there were only 10 spots available out of the 16 and I believe we have filled those already. So, if you want to join us let us know and we can see if we can add you to our campsite or see if they had someone back out on their reservations.
We usually try to caravan so we will make plans for that the closer we get.
