Kick summer off with an evening of rodeo action. From the classic event of bareback riding, saddle bronc, the fan favorite of bull riding, the pretty gals and fast horses of barrel racing and all the timed events as well.
Gates open at 6pm and rodeo action kicks off at 7pm.
Enjoy rodeo action at the professional level at the Red Desert Roundup PRCA Rodeo.

Pre Show events may vary but they usually have mutton busting, teen cash scramble, and the adult cash scramble.

The cowgirls are attending the Sandhills Rodeo on January 12, 2024. We will meet for dinner at 6:00. The rodeo starts at 7:30.

Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

Graham TX chapter is participating in the grand entry for the 11:00 am FWSSR rodeo performance. We are allowed 5 trailer spaces for our participants. Official parade gear, negative Coggins and health certificate required. Be ready for the police escort to the arena at 10:00 am.
Self care day for you + your horses! Please join us at the ranch for massages, facials and magnawave. There are limited spots so let me know what you would like to be reserved for!

Enjoy a traditional Mardi Gras Parade continued with a chicken run and a grease pig chase.
Howard Venable road and surrounding roads will be closed from 6 am to 4 pm so arrive early. There will be parking at the Vcross ranch, we will shuttle to the Prince ranch.
Cowgirl Jennie Vayo is setting up an opportunity for you to participate in a Night Ride Obstacle Clinic at Legacy Ranch in Lone Oak. This Clinic will be offered by Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse, under the direction of David and Terry Rogers. It is limited to ten (10) riders, so sign-up quickly. If weather is prohibitive, it will be rescheduled. Come on out… new opportunity, new experience!!
Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. The church is going to have 3 events, 2 practices and the one in April will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.

Come join us for some really fun obstacle practice on Friday and then enter the fun jackpot on Saturday. There will be divisions depending on number entered to spread the winnings to all levels of horses and riders! We’ll have an in-hand and a riding class! Practice is from 6-10 Friday, come and go as you can. It’ll be open group practice to work on whatever you need. We will have approximately 20 obstacles to work on. Bring your babies, bring your seasoned horses. Practice in hand or mounted! We’ll be there to help you and your horse along! It’s going to be a GREAT time!!

This will be our second obstacle play day at Kim’s house. If you didn’t come the first time, you missed out on a good time. Kim has an unbelieve obstacle course set up at her home and changes it up on a weekly basis. This course will be a St. Patty’s Day Theme. It’s $40 per person and you need to bring a side dish to go with Taco Soup for our potluck lunch!

Turkey Creek Rodeo Club has Started their Open 4D barrel series. Exhibitons start at 4pm-6pm. Youth Barrels will begin at 6:30 entry fee is 35.00. Open Barrels will begin after youth runs entry fee is 45.00. 75% pay out on 1/2 splits this is a buckle series and you must attend 3 of the 5 to qualify for the buckle
Come out and support the up and coming rodeo athletes of Wyoming as they compete for a spot on the state team and attend the national rodeo later this summer. Rodeo action will start on Friday April 19th at 9am with the athletes of the Junior High division. The High School events will be on Saturday & Sunday, April 20 & 21. Saturday evening will also feature a rough stock performance.
All events will take place at the indoor arena at the events complex.
We will ride in the rodeo parade in Mineral Wells Saturday April 27. Wear pink parade gear, please.
Park is open 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Distance is about 2 hours’ hauling drive from Port Orchard area of SR 16. See Belfair, WA Chapter FB page or contact Chapter Queen Wendy Morrow for details on coordinating time for Cowgirls to go together.
Cost: $25 per horse/per day + $20 refundable Haul-in Fee per horse. All manure, straw/shavings, trash must be picked up and disposed of before leaving. Staff member will inspect your area and return the haul-in fee when clean.
Open ride – Full use of the Mountain Trail Park and outdoor arena. Free parking and stalls available.

May 10 -11th – Bar W Rodeo Company – Sponsored by the Macon County FFA Chapter – Two Full Nights of championship rodeo with bull riding, barrel racing, breakaway, broncos, and much more. The Macon County Horse Association is opening their concession stand for amazing pulled porked sandwiches and platters. Bar W Rodeo is a local odeo company nestled right here in our Western Carolina Mountains. We hope everyone comes out to see amazing action and help raise funds for our local FFA and Horse Association
Obstacle Play Day at Judi Vogt’s farm located at 105 Tibor Drive, Kings Mountain, NC. Drive all the way to the end of the black top road. You will go through an open iron gate and see the arena, barn and parking on your left.
This event is from 11:00 – 2:00 and is no charge but donations are appreciated for our charity for 2024.
Obstacle play days are a great time to expose your horse and maybe you, to things you’ve not experienced. You will go at your own pace and ask for help from your peers at anytime. We are all happy to help!
We have had a great turnout in the past for play days, so to ensure we have enough parking for everyone, try to carpool if possible. Also, RSVP on the event, as we will keep a list of attendees and may have to limit our numbers.

This is a day event put on by Extreme Trail Sports. Great for those new to the sport. Day rentals for stalls are available and should be reserved when you register but stalls will be paid for the day of the event.

Saturday Morning: In-Hand event obstacles are completed dismounted. You may be saddled, halters with leads are recommended. All non-riding equines are welcome to compete.
Saturday Afternoon: Obstacle Course is a mounted event in an area/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.
There is a variety of terrain throughout the property. The facility has gravel roads throughout. The arena has sand footing. The trails have dirt, mixed gravel, wooded area, and lots of trees.

Lunch: $8 donation for beef chili and chicken enchilada chili with chips and drinks
In addition to the registration fee paid to ETS, a $10 facility fee will be collected the day of the event to support the ranch.
