FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!
Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

Come out and join in on the celebration at the VA Hospital in Big Spring. The new community center on the VA campus is done and we were invited to attend. All Cowgirls are welcome. Pink button down shirts please… Hats optional as we will be inside.
Come on over to the tattoo shop and get some ink done. We will have several Cowgirls coming in for new tattoos as well as some touch-ups.. All are welcome…
Self care day for you + your horses! Please join us at the ranch for massages, facials and magnawave. There are limited spots so let me know what you would like to be reserved for!

We will be riding from Gentry Wimberely’s house to Canyon Road Bar and Grill. This will be a 6-7 mile ride with drink stops if needed. we are planning to unload at Gentrys then convoying trucks and trailers to Canyon Road we will have a cowgirl uber to take the drivers who are also riding back to the horses. Calling all Cowgirls, We are bringing our horses to the VA hospital for some outside therapy for our favorite group of veterans. If you are interested, please only bring a CALM horse… The horses will be groomed, walked out and loved on, no riding. ALL Cowgirls are encouraged to join us, especially if you are not bringing a horse, we need hands on the ground.. Please wear pink button downs, hats optional…We will park in the back west end parking lot…

Come out and join in on the fun at the start of this sorting series for 2024… Text entries available the Friday before the event from 8am-6pm… Series runs from from March thru August. Finals in August. Pays 1st-3rd places. 20$ per run. Pick and draws up to 8 runs. Open and novice classes and youth will be available if enough riders. Prizes at the finals: 1st Open-saddle, 2nd Open-buckle, 3rd Open-breast collar. 1st Novice-buckle, 2nd Novice-buckle, 3rd Novice-breast collar.. All are welcome

One of our newest Cowgirls Elaine Gober and her husband Travis our competing in the acoustic showdown, this event is part of care fest. winners of this event will go on to play at the big carefest concert on august 24. Turkey Creek Rodeo Club has Started their Open 4D barrel series. Exhibitons start at 4pm-6pm. Youth Barrels will begin at 6:30 entry fee is 35.00. Open Barrels will begin after youth runs entry fee is 45.00. 75% pay out on 1/2 splits this is a buckle series and you must attend 3 of the 5 to qualify for the buckle

Come join our chapter at the amazing Gillespie Ranch in New Mexico. This is a true working cattle ranch sitting on 30,000 acres in the Lincoln Nation Forrest. There are limited spots available, so make reservations as soon as possible. Full hook ups with covered stalls.
