Calendar
The list may take a minute or so to load. There are a lot of events!
And we’re off….To the races that is! The Hawkinsville Harness Races will be held on Mar 30th. This is the only day of the year where you can watch live horse racing in Georgia! Gates open at 9:30 and races start at 11:00. There will be food on site as well as local vendors and activities for kids. Cost is $5 per person and children under 12 get in free. Can’t wait to see all the beautiful racehorses AND watch every race from start to finish! We should probably be at the track around 10:00 and all sit together for the exciting races! We will have an early supper around 4:00 at the Hawkinsville Steak House after watching the races most of the day. Think this will be a very enjoyable event for all ages! It could be our own “Forsyth Chapter Derby” with the big, beautiful hats and of course mint juleps or mimosas! Who’s in?
This year’s we did our first ever fundraiser trail ride on New Year’s that was open to the public. We hosted it at our farm and offered prizes and raffled off items. It was a great success and everyone has asked us to do another one and we have decided to host another trail ride fundraiser for March 30th 2024 with a rain date of April 13th 2024!
Please join us March 30th 2024. Farm opens at 930 trail ride starts at 11. we have had some great feed back from our first public trail ride and will be offering color coded trails at different lengths so you can pick what works best for you! First ride out at 11am, come back to socialize with raffle drawing at 2pm additional rides after raffle and farm closes at 7pm. We will also have ribbons for your horses red=may kick, green=young maybe unpredictable and Gold = rider is single! We will have ribbons out with signs explaining. This got away from me at the new year’s day trail ride and I even forgot to put a gold ribbon for my own horse . Alot was learned and we think our second public ride will be even better! If you came to the first ride and haven’t already please fill out our survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GR3G9WV . if you got any swag or won prizes from our first ride make sure to take pictures with it and tag and post! We hope to have the same sponsors and even more for our spring ride!

Enjoy a fantastic weekend working with Carson James! Come see why Carson is considered to be one of the few with a ‘total package’ approach. He says, “Horsemanship is the one and only method that will work for every horse.” Learn how to adjust your ask and timing, better read your horse, get to your horse’s mind, and improve your relationship to obtain better results. Learn techniques to deal with most any problem and how to avoid them. Come laugh, meet new friend and become a better horseman, all while spending a weekend with your horse! What could be better?
