Calendar
The list may take a minute or so to load. There are a lot of events!
The Fox Parade of Lights is a beautiful way to bring in the Christmas season! Join us as we light up our horses for a bright and festive parade!
The parade starts at 6:30. We like to get there early for lineup, help with polos, get our woohoos out and get used to the event noise, lights and congestion. This event is best suited for seasoned parade horses. Thankfully, no candy will be allowed to be tossed.
We will wear Santa hats or helmet , dark jeans, boots, pink gloves and the following 40SC parade attire:
Pink shirt, pink polos, black jacket, black saddle blanket
Join our Cowgirls for a fun evening and fellowship during the Potosi Community Center monthly potluck and game night. At 5:30 potluck begins with games to follow. This is a great monthly event that has been going steady for years. Don’t be shy! Bring a dish to share.
You are cordially invited to attend the

Hope you can join us on Dec 10th at 10:00 for a beautiful ride over at Charlie Elliott beginning at 10:00. Trail is such a pretty trail!
Hope all can join us at Cedar Ridge Ranch in Senoia on Dec 14th, Saturday beginning at 10:00. It’s a great place to ride with lots of trails. Cost is $5 and must provide proof of Coggins to enter.
Hope all can join us for a fun and relaxing way to spend a great December morning!
Come join us on Dec 17th at 10:00 at Dauset Trails. After the ride, we’ll head over to the Mexican Restaurant called Mesquite located on the square in Jackson. Hope you’ll join us as it’s a good place to eat! There’s plenty of parking available off the square.
Come join us at the Ocmulgee Bluffs for a Saturday morning ride beginning at 10:00 (Ride out time) on Dec 21st.
This area is a beautiful place to ride. Directions are as follows:
From Forsyth take Highway 83 north east towards Monticello. Will cross the Ocmulgee River, and a few miles down, will go past the Enon Baptist Church on your left. Will see a big Ocmulgee Bluffs sign on your right where you turn left onto Smith Mill Rd after seeing the sign. There is a black horse sign with the words Saddle Horse Club written on it on your left as you turn in. Road is not in the best of shape and narrow, so take it nice and slow. After approximately 3 miles, you’ll see the Saddle Horse Campground on your right and on your left, will be the entrance to the Bluffs where you pay $5 and can park.
NOTE: If coming from Monticello on Highway 83 towards Forsyth heading West, you’ll see the Ocmulgee Bluffs Sign and right as you are turning on Smith Mill Rd, you see the black horse sign with the words Saddle Horse Club written on it. If you see the Enon Baptist Church on your right, you’ve gone too far. Probably best to turn around there in the parking lot and head back east where you will see the Ocmulgee Bluffs sign on your right and turn left on Smith Mill Rd.
If you haven’t joined us in a while, please come on out for a good day to ride with some wonderful cowgirls as we remember our Veterans.
Hope all can join us at Mingo Trails for a great weekend of camping, riding and enjoying our friends! Main ride will be Saturday, Dec 28th at 10:00. I’d recommend coming in on the 26th if possible as Mingo doesn’t allow reservations, but works on a first come first serve basis. More details will follow concerning chili cookoff and New Years Eve Celebration!
Charlie Elliott Ride will be on Jan 4th, Saturday, at 10:00. Had to reschedule from Nov 19th due to rain. Hope many will join us on this beautiful 5.6 multi-use trail ride. Trail is a good one – where most riders can ride side by side. Trails have been really cleaned out and updated!
